We're on our way home, but we wanted to finish the blog.
The trees in Loreto are carved out so cars can get through the streets. We enjoyed the town so much that we returned to it on our way back up the Baja.
The beach pictures are from El Requeson, a boondocking campsite on a penninsula of sorts. It was beautiful.
Turned down a chance to go fishing again there...anything after the marlin would be anticlimatic! But was able to get a pedicure on the beach from Francisco, for $15.00! What a treat.
Then got a footrub a few days later from my buddy Dan (from IL) due to a Colts victory in the superbowl!!!
All about my feet this week! Anyway, the Baja trip is over, and we're both ok with that. It was definately an adventure, not one we'll ever do again, but we're glad we did it. We met a lot of great people that we'll keep in touch with, had a lot of good times, and did manage some relaxing down time. We're writing from just outside Oklahoma City, and plan to be home sometime Saturday if the weather cooperates. Phones are working again (I did miss that!), and it's good to be back in the U.S. Thus ends the Baja portion of our blog. We will update as our life adventures continue...
